You just worry about yourself. Update A2k when you're good and ready, we can wait.

So, good news. Not melanoma in the palm.

Two possible skin cancers on face, but that disturbs me much less, even if the biopsies come out positive. Results in about a week.
Doc requested me back in six months re the palm thing.

Ms. Drama Queen is embarrassed but relieved.
Also, thanks to Butrflynet - it was good to have her come with me. She knew the place and the people and it made the whole thing easier.

@ossobuco,
Fantastic!

Skin cancers on the face wouldn't be fabulous mind you, but again I know a lot of people who have gone through that without much ill effect.

And bravo to Butrflynet too.

@ossobuco,
We are also relieved, osso.

About the other spots, a friend of mine had one removed from his forehead and only had to wear a band-aid for a few days.

@ossobuco,
Some positive news is good news to read.

You deservedly have been given a pass in this department regarding any Ms. Drama Queen allegations. No need to feel embarrassed. Just relax after this good news.

@ossobuco,
Good news indeed and Jo was quite relieved to hear it. Jo said the doctor thought the spot on her palm looked more like a freckle. To me, seeing it briefly for the first time, it reminded me of when I was a kid and would accidentally jam a pencil lead into my palm. The spot would be discolored for a few days, otherwise fine. Jo's spot on her palm looks to be about that same size and coloring. Glad the doctor will check it again in 6 months and that now he'll have a baseline to compare it to.

Jo, if the spots on your face turn out to be basal cells and the doctor wants to put you on imiquidmod ointment, I've got at least a half dozen of the sample sizes they gave me that you can have. That stuff is extremely expensive - something like $600 for 24 doses.

That is terrible, being sick is bad enough without being ripped off. Good on you anyway BFN.
