Thanks - yes she doesn't live too far away, but probably can't get there for several weeks as we have sports every weekend coming up.
I will save this info and look into the ebay instructions.
As far as the doll - yes brand new American Girl dolls cost a little over $100 at the store - usually includes a book or charm and they are clothed. This particular retired doll was going for $300 or $400 new. For those smart people who buy them when they retire and then try to re-sell them.
Used without clothes I figure $50 was fair. Then we go to the store and get her hair done.
