Little shot glasses full of Jello and Vodka they sold out in an hour, I should have made more lol.

To be a wee bit more presice, it's jello made with vodka, poured and left to set in (usually) plastic shot glasses.

It's easier to squish the shooter out...

$2,065.00 was our total yesterday. Now some off the parents already bought uniforms for their kids. We have 14 kids on the team. I thought the only fair thing to do would be to divide the funds 14 ways. This way there won’t be any hard feeling when one parent finds out they had to pay for their Childs uniform and others didn’t.

Man soup usually attracts 200 to 250 guys, some come and go at different times; it’s an all day event. I know the three guys that put it on. It’s next month and they will allow us to sell Jell-O shots at the event. Some of these guys will suck down 5 or more shots. That’s next on our little league fundraiser calendar.

I think I'd pass on the jello shots *bbrrrrrr*

Well, jcboy, you could offer a deal to the parents who bought already the uniform. Put the money in a tab and buy water and fruits for the kids whenever they have games.

When we had soccer games with our little ones, we always had plenty of
water bottles for the kids, oranges at half time and sweets/snacks after the game.

(I'm glad that we're in what seems to be a pretty cheap area -- sozlet's a three-sport athlete right now but I don't think we spend more than $300 a year on absolutely everything, participation fees to equipment to uniforms.)

And Soz you’re right, the uniforms and supplies are not that expensive. All the kids are covered for now.

Any extra funds they raise we can use for the refreshments and snacks at the games. One of the parents wanted to have a bake sale, cute idea but if these guys make a couple hundred jello shots and take them to the Man Soup party next month they’ll sell them all in an hour or so, that would keep the kids in refreshments until the end of summer.

Tomorrow the kids are having a game, unless it gets rained out.

Tonight I’m making homemade snicker doodles

I just tasted one of the snicker doodles and they’re yummy! The kids will love them tomorrow!

We had another pool party fundraiser today, this one wasn’t my idea it was a surprise by a friend of mine! He decided to have it because he missed the last one. All the guys that showed up made a ten-dollar donation to the kids, I think there was something like 75 guys that showed up today.

These kids are set for the whole season!
