We have a pool party fund raiser at 2 today, its for the kids softball, some of the parents can’t afford the uniforms and supplies so me and few others started this little fundraiser. I got 96 people to attend, a few of the restaurants donated gift certificates and we will be selling raffle tickets. Should be fun.

We had a wonderful time at the fundraiser today. Over a hundred queers showed up to raise money for the kid’s softball league. All bought ten to twenty dollars worth of tickets, I don’t have a total dollar amount yet but it is well over $2,000.00 raised in one day!

You did much better than the father pancake sale at our local rec center for the little soccer league.

They really came through for the kids.

A lot of these men don’t have kids and never will. So helping out these children was a big deal to them. Morgan got half a dozen restaurants to donate gift certificates, the guys wanted them, plus in this community its good for their business.

It's a very nice gesture, especially since these men have no direct interest i.e. children who play little league. Usually, people only give money or interest to causes they're directly involved in - so kudos to all the people who came and donated!
