I've hated packing up after living in one place for years, too.
A person can become overwhelmed!

Idea You could always pay some company to do it!

And and enjoy yourself wining & dining while it's being done.

Oh yeah, the packers are doing it, I don't have to lift a finger if I want to - but I am using this as an excuse to get rid of some of my clutter..

Do you really think you'll need all those ties (like around 500 of them, at last count!) in Singapore?

Perhaps you can give some away to friends, to lighten the load?

Singapore is much closer to Oz & we're probably more familiar with political, cultural & other issues there than some in the northern hemisphere.

Seems to be a pretty active scene....male homosexuality is against the law, but there seem to be lots of gay venues and an active gay rights movement.
