What the hell is decryptonite?

It used to be questions about water softeners. Now decryptonite has taken over most of the new topics. What's up?

It's some kind of scholastic quiz contest in India, and coming here for answers is a violation of their rules. These clowns have just swamped the site.

Supposedly, the contest which noone is allowed to seek help with, ends on August 2nd.

@Reyn,
I had no idea either, but if you put "decryptonite" into google - a2k comes up immediately. That's why they're all here....

@CalamityJane,
I hear horsemeat can be tasty, have never tried it (I'm an ethic perv in that I love horses, yet will read about and occasionally revel in racing, which can be very cruel in breeding and usage) but eaten in good restaurants that have it on their menus. I eat salami with much gusto, but I like cattle, et al, to be raised well. It's a long time useful food, as you know.

According to wiki, the meat involved may differ and include.. goose... or horse, depending on who makes it.

Have you tried horse salami? Not to put you on the spot. I'm not against it, much, depending on the the way that would be done.

@ossobuco,
Replying to self -

this reminds me, tangentially, but hey - about a foofuraw in the SFChronicle about David Sedaris' piece in the Guardian about his trip to China. As usual, it was a satiric dump with some truth to it. The comments to the article are interesting, and probably reflect SF, naturally. I haven't managed to read all of them yet. SF a big foodie city, with some interesting commenters.

@ossobuco,
Yes I have, and it is quite tasty. You wouldn't know it though, if no one told you that it's horse sausage. We eat rabbit too....

@CalamityJane,
I've had good rabbit dishes, starting in Volterra but not only there.
Just not available at my local market.

Oh, wait, we're talking about time.

@Izzie,
I'm following 76 totp, although I see it on Thurdays. I like to look out for the subtle punk influences slowly working their way through. The Wurzels didn't look any different then to the way they look today! Oooo Arrr oooo arrr.

@Brain Eater23,
Check out the thread topic, Brain Eater.
It's about decryptonites, not a thread exclusively for them.

I guess you are one of them, then?
Welcome to A2k.
I hope you're not this aggressive all the time! Wink
