@JGoldman10,
Posting pictures of black men is a racist act? There must be a lot of racists out there.

@izzythepush,
The pictures YOU are posting are RACIST.

I am asking what STYLES ARE POPULAR NOW. I am an African-American and I don't know - I don't keep up with hair trends. I haven't done so in years.

We don't all wear afros.

This is why I asked in any BLACK members here can please help me with tis thread.

I went to school with a girl who was Black, her entire family was, they were the Black family. Later on she married into the Gay family and became a Black Gay. Years before that I went to school with a guy who was Green, but their family wasn't comprised of Martians.

I really don't know if the Black Gay Green or even White family came here as members.

There's a style that's popular now called evens- even stevens - even on all sides, close cut.

Someone just told me this.

No they're not. Racist pictures would portray black people as lacking human qualities. My pictures show black people have a wonderful sense of humour, an essential human quality. Although it's a quality you don't appear to have.

I've met this guy, we shook hands and had a lovely chat. He is someone I admire greatly. Admittedly when I met him he looked like this.

He is a very talented individual and a man of many haircuts, pehaps this look would be more in keeping with your opus.

After all he is a cat.

@izzythepush,
You're pics depict people with STEREOTYPICAL hairstyles - they look like rejects from blaxploitation movies. That is RACIST.

@JGoldman10,
This 'reject from a blaxploitation film,' is Reginald D Hunter. http://www.dailyinfo.co.uk/images/theatre/reginald-d-h.jpg

I'll let him tell you the main problem with your idea.

@izzythepush,
I don't need an IGNORANT WHITE MAN to tell me what hairstyles are POPULAR AMONGST BLACK MALES.

I AM BLACK- I KNOW ABOUT PEPPERCORNS BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT SOME BLACK MALES HAD IN THE '90s.

I SEE A LOT OF GUYS WEARING CORNROWS now.

IN THE EARLY 80s SOME BLACKS WERE STILL WEARING AFROS.

Why did you post this thread then? It's not like anyone else can be bothered to post anything. Stop prevaricating and start drawing.

I posted this thread because I have BLACK characters in my comic- I want to know what different styles of hair are CURRENTLY popular amonst black males. I CAN'T HAVE THEM ALL SPORTING FADES OR CREWCUTS OR BRAIDS OF DREADS, or even AFROS. NOT ALL BLACKS WEAR THEIR HAIR LIKE THIS.
