What is this business about old latin?

Old Latin is the language of the period preceding the Classical Age.

Most posters simply assume that all Latin is "old".
This poster clearly understands the distinction.

I am not well-enough versed in the differences to handle this request.
My Latin studies have been of Classical and Late Latin.
