I have been searching for wiper motor for some time now for a vintage 66 cuda. I have had zero success. Wondering if any one knows of a resource. I have searched the usual sites on the web as well as the local parts stores. The motor I have works, but the arm just spins it is probably striped. I have been told a machine shop might be able to re-thread it. I have also heard and have seen the electric wiper motors as a after market piece. Can anyone guild me in the right direction, as I never though this would be so hard

These people seem to have a lot of 66 Plymouth parts.

I wouldn't be surprised if Plymouth used the sme wiper motor in a number of their models, and it probably didn't change over a several year span.

Did you google "replacement windshield wiper motor for 1966 Plymouth" and check out a couple pages of the hits?

Or is it the wiper arm rather than the motor that you think is stripped? Your post is a little unclear. Is it a setscrew on the arm that tigtens it agains the rotating shaft of the motor?

@John Vaccaro,
Can you remove the motor, and take it to the local auto parts store? They might be able to help.

@John Vaccaro,
if the arm spins, you probably just need new nylon bushings.

old Mopars are notorious for spitting them out...
