@edgarblythe,
Change is certain. Peace is followed by disturbances; departure of evil men by their return. Such recurrences should not constitute occasions for sadness but realities for awareness, so that one may be happy in the interim.
Percy Bysshe Shelley

Shelley, a Titan.

“Courage is not limited to the battlefield or the Indianapolis 500 or bravely catching a thief in your house. The real tests of courage are much quieter. They are the inner tests, like remaining faithful when nobody's looking, like enduring pain when the room is empty, like standing alone when you're misunderstood.”

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
I disagree. David and I disagree about almost everything, he is a bit of single issue poster, but I've never found him to be rude.

Not exactly "rude", Izzy, but so obnoxious and annoyingly verbose that he can kill a thread by sheer overkill of his stated opinons, as BBB has intimated. He's not alone, or unique, in his ability to do so, of course.

“My mother approved, my father just didn't accept the idea of my being an actor. I think that's the reason he kept the hardware store in operation, because I think he was pretty sure that I was going to be found out sooner or later, and he wanted to have a job for me to come back to.”

@edgarblythe,
So how did that acting gig turn out for this ... James Stewart who? Did he end up just waiting tables at a Broadway diner?

Lois: Come on, Stewie, you know you can’t leave the table until you finish your vegetables.
Stewie: Well, then I shall sit here until one of us expires, and you’ve got a good forty years on me, woman.
Lois: Sweetie, it’s broccoli, it’s good for you. Now, open up for the airplane...
Stewie: Never! Damn the broccoli, damn you, and damn the Wright brothers!
