Right now I'm trying to do a fragrance called Natalie. She's very, very much alive for us.

Interesting coincidence that you should use that particular quote today, edgar. Story in this morning's local paper that the Cal. police are still investigating Natalie's death. There's a team of detectives from CA on their way to Honolulu next month to examine the yacht she was on off Catalina Island. Since that time, the Splendour, a 60-footer, has been purchased by a local guy, Ron Nelson, who's been restoring it, hoping to start a charter business.

What in the world the cops hope to discover 30 years after the mishap the story doesn't say.

@Lustig Andrei,
I won't say they didn't do their job the first time, but I have always felt she was murdered.

@edgarblythe,
Another from that work:

External heat and cold had little influence on Scrooge. No warmth could
warm, no wintry weather chill him. No wind that blew was bitterer than
he, no falling snow was more intent upon its purpose, no pelting rain less
open to entreaty.

@George,
My favorite, from Scroooge, the film adaptation:

Spirit of Christmas Present: My time with you is at an end, Ebenezer Scrooge. Will you profit from what I've shown you of the good in most men's hearts?
Ebenezer: I don't know, how can I promise!
Spirit of Christmas Present: If it's too hard a lesson for you to learn, then learn this lesson!
[opens his robe, revealing two starving children]
Ebenezer: [shocked] Spirit, are these yours?
Spirit of Christmas Present: They are Man's. This boy is Ignorance, this girl is Want. Beware them both, but most of all, beware this boy!
Ebenezer: But have they no refuge, no resource?
Spirit of Christmas Present: [quoting Scrooge] Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?

Why learn a number like pi to so many decimal places? The answer I gave
then as I do now is that pi is for me an extremely beautiful and utterly
unique thing. Like the Mona Lisa or a Mozart symphony, pi is its own
reason for loving it.
