Which filmgoer you personally know is the most hopeless?

For years, it seems that the Girl and I only go to animated motion pictures. There the only ones we don't disagree about seeing.

Give me a comic character based film that you think to be very good

Very very good, these 3:

Spirited Away
Belladonna
Persepolis

My list of very good animation films is way larger.

@fbaezer,
I'll have to have a look at Spirited Away and Belladonna.

I don't think of Persepolis as being based on a comic book character, because I tend to think of them as being super-hero sorts who appear in numerous comics.

I consider persepolis to be a graphic novel. I can see that definition could be argued with.

I'd love to see your list of great animated films in case I haven't seen them all.

@dlowan,
A short animated film I remember fondly -
Munro, written by Jules Feiffer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munro_(film)
(He was only four, you know.)

Odd, tsar. Here's a TCM discussion.

Last night they were featuring Spencer Tracy. I was stunned to read about the man's life. He was an alcoholic; he had multiple affairs with different stars; because he was Roman Catholic, he would not divorce.

Here's one of the trailers from a TCM movie.

Not much on animated films except for Disney.

All biography movies I think are hopeless and even rated so badly on IMDB.

@goru,
That's a unique if tad too cynical approach. Is there a film goer in your life that consumes so many biography based films to an extreme excess regardless of their reputation for being botch jobs on the people they are supposed to be defining?
