When I first heard him in 1974, I had never heard anything like it before. And though many others tried, he was one of a kind. In my mind, his music was part of the militant, revolutionary segments of the soundtrack to my youth.

Sorry. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone in paying tribute to him. I think a thread , seperate from letty's radio thread, is a great idea.
