I always did like her, even in movies I did not really like. Was surprised that she was younger than me.

@edgarblythe,
sounds like the result of blunt trauma. "Sepsis from a ruptured intestine". You dint get a ruptured intestine from failure to hit a high note.

I sorta remember her but not so much . I recall the Helen Keller play , I believe it was on some tv special. (I think)

@farmerman,
A ruptured intestine, i.e. gastrointestinal perforation, can also be caused by diverticulitis.

I remember her coming to a lab I worked at one year in the late sixties. I don't remember that she was a patient, maybe she was there with someone else. Anyway, the lab owner asked her (gawd knows why) if she like to see the rats. If I remember, they had been talking for a while, him showing her around. He was a good guy, and a good talker/storyteller. Anyway, she was game for it; rats were there for pregnancy testing (a short and sad matter for the rats). I didn't go with them down the steps, but they were soon back upstairs, still talking away. I can't say I met her, just that I had a pleasant impression. That was '68 when I worked there, so she was still quite young, but that was still some time after the movie.
