@Walter Hinteler,
Didn't Franklin love the French women to excess also?

@Renaldo Dubois,
You failed to acknowledge that the quote isn't even Franklin's. You MISQUOTE and feel you can get away with it?

@parados,
I apologize for my misquote.

Are you going to apologize for your partial quotes of my words or are you going to be a typical whiney liberal and excuse your way out of it?

@Renaldo Dubois,
Don't know about that - but it certainly could be.

As Jefferson said to king Louis XVI (after being addressed by king with “Ah, c’est vous qui remplacez le Docteur Franklin”): “Majesté, personne ne peut remplacer le Docteur Franklin."

Since I have not been inaccurate, I see no reason to apologize.

people should be civil to other people, therefore, nobody needs to be civil to politicians, lawyers, personalities (tv stars, movie stars, musicians) clergy or news reporters

you can be civil to these folks should you choose, but as they are not (in my opinion) people, **** them

@Renaldo Dubois,
never had a problem with cops, my uncle was an OPP officer (Ontario Provincial Police, think state trooper), like teachers they're just doing a job, i feel sorry that they have to enforce some of the asinine laws and teach some of the ridiculous curriculums, but the laws and curriculum are not their fault

@djjd62,
The problem I have with cops and teachers is that it's just too difficult to fire the ones who are incompetent. Waste of taxpayer money.

@Renaldo Dubois,
that has more to do with unions than it does cops or teachers

forgot to add union officials to my list of folks you don't need to civil to, subhuman things, certainly not people, i miss being in a union, only because i loved shitting on the union at meetings (would have rejected the contract gains if i could have, but my position put me in the union and i couldn't get out until i left the company)

@djjd62,
We're on the same page on unions. They have outlived their time.
