Not only is capitalism working for some US residents but it is also working for a few residents in other countries. But since too many are being left out of this great adventure I would say it is not working. Surprised

@RexRed,
Capitalism isn't working when the CEO's and officers of companys earn 400 times all the other workers in their company. IT'S CALLED BLIND GREED.

Sharing the company's profit with ALL THE WORKERS results in more consumer business that helps other businesses with more buyers and suppliers, and all forms of taxes including income and sales.

@RABEL222,
Capitalism has worked beautifully in the US for the majority of our nations existence, until FDR assaulted the Fifth Amendment's "No private property shall be taken without just compensation clause with the "New Deal".

For proof of the above statement see the book "why Coolidge matters".

President Coolidge studied the founding fathers in depth and applied the principals of the founders.

The result was that he was wildly successful as president. He followed the constitution and this was the result. That is why the left hates him so much they attempted to rewrite history in an attempt to hide what works from future generations.

President Reagan studied Calvin Coolidge in depth and even held seminars inside the white house for his staff. He brought in special speakers on the subject of Calvin Coolidge.

History records that both President Coolidge and President Reagan were two of our most successful presidents economiclly and otherwise.

To the extent that capitalism is working less efficiently today, the biggest reason why is Government attempting to defy the Constitutions restraints on Government.

Today Government is attempting to defy the laws of mathematics and to defy human nature by regulations and unconstituional laws such as Obamacare.

John Merical

PS. Obamacare violates the First, Fouth, Fifth, Sixth, Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the Constitution. Additionally it is attempting to lay a foundation to violate the Second Amendment.

@RexRed,
From someone who has studied the Constitution for years in depth, I have just one question. What section and what clause ?

@destinyeleven,
A bunch of gob·ble·dy·gook without much basis in fact.

1. Where did you learn American history?
2. Coolidge ranked in the last quartile
3. From ConsortiumNews.com
Quote:
The first point to understand is that the current $16.7 trillion federal debt is about $11 trillion more than it was when George W. Bush took office. Not only did Bush’s tax-cut-and-war-spending policies send the debt soaring over the next dozen years but it was those policies that eliminated the federal surpluses of Bill Clinton’s final years and reversed a downward trend in the debt that had “threatened” to eliminate the debt entirely over the ensuing decade.

4. Where did you study Economics?
5. Show how Obamacare violates any section of our Constitution?
6. FACT: You are stupid!

Imagine if your tires never popped. This technology is available, but oddly not utilized by the masses. Somebody wants to make sure your tires keep popping so you keep buying more rubber.

@cicerone imposter,
I personally know few people with luxury cars so I can't really relate.

I know people with a few pinstripes that think they have luxury cars... Smile
