Email account hacked

My Hotmail account got done that way, about a year ago. After I got the account straightened out, I kept the email working, but I deleted all my contacts. Then, if I get hacked again, there are no addresses to send phony messages and viruses to. When I send a message from there, I type the first letter and the computer displays the address for me to click on.

I do think that it was my hotmail account, too.

Seriously, however, it is mostly spammers who hack e-mail accounts.
