recover an old facebook account, but I am no longer provided with the e-mail I accessed

I would like to recover my old facebook account but I no longer remember the password and the e-mail I had chosen is now no longer active. The account is still visible (so it has not been deleted), I would like to know if there is a procedure that allows me to recover the account or at least know if there is a facebook help desk where to expose the problem.
