Caught a discussion on PBS by several political figures on aging, its costs to society and individuals, featuring the governors of Idaho (last seen in a commercial for Idaho potatoes) who is (or maybe that's was) chairman of a national council of governors; Georgia and Hawaii.
They spoke intelligently and without ego.
To someone from Massachusetts where our current governor is man elected largely on the basis of his prom date ad in which he boldfacedly lied about being able to fly from California, where he began college in 1965, to Michigan solely on the basis of a night watchman's job, in order to visit his sweetheart, who was still in high school (and probably jail bait) without his parents' knowledge, this was indeed a revelation. Both a liar and a sneak!!!
Any knowers from those states? What do you think of your governor?
We've had some doozies in Massachusetts!
Colorado's (Texan) governor isn't one of them.
Grading Colorado's Governor
Read the associated stories in the little box on the right, too.
I wouldn't dare try "California governor" on Google. LOL
The one we have in Connecticut is probably going to jail shortly,... don't get me going on this guy, I could talk all night.
I have no respect at all for Texas' governor.
Re: Colorado
It is interesting that new highways are always seen as positive. We need more rail transport but that's just my opinion.
