Its lunch time; I believe that I 'll meander over
to the local naborhood restaurant. I will think of them
for inspiration whilst I ingest.

@OmSigDAVID,
One thing I read about them when I first got them was to never ever feed them from your hand because when they get larger they will come up to you expecting to be feed. I simply put the food in their pen and they come over to eat.

Oh yes they do, they follow each other around, its funny when its feeding time because the smaller one "Harry" will come a running because he knows he better get to the food before Henry gets to it Smile

@jespah,
It's been pretty warm here in Florida but I've heard it will drop down to the 60's this week, that's when they will have to come inside, I had to buy these large plastic bins to keep them in, they can't handle the cold.

@OmSigDAVID,
Yes, in Austin.

Right now it's 47, no wind. Just came back from dinner at a restuarant we'd never been too.

Nice.

@jcboy,
Oh, I've got on warm track pants, and a pull over with a hoodie. I wrapped a scarf about me when we left the house, but when we came out of the restaurant, we had warm food in us, and it was very nice, not needing the scarf.

It was a vegetarian place, Bouldin Creek Cafe. I drive by it all the time, and always see lots of people sitting outside, so we decided to check it out. Since it was our first time, we both went with breakfast. I had an omelette with gouda, leeks, finely shredded potato, with pepper sour cream drizzled on the top, and a potato cake that I think was the best I've ever had. Oh, and sourdough toast.
I could only eat half of it, so brought the rest home.

Next time I'll go for an entre, as I snuck peeks at other diners meals, and they looked really good.

They also have a lot of vegan dishes, but I personally don't consider eggs or cheese non-vegetarian.

A day or 2 ago, I saw a HUMMINGBIRD feeding from a flower bush at my place.
I just saw a National Geographic presentation on hummingbirds.

I 'm thinking of getting a hummingbird feeder to hang in my yard;
maybe 1 each for front and backyards.

I like HUMMINGBIRDS! I 'm a pro-hummingbird kinda guy!
