Osso - I already have a stash of homemade chocolate rumballz.
NOW is the time for a cocoa..... brb.
Ceili - Grand Marnier, yes please (too bad I don't have any). Irish cream is all for you.
I like beer with chocolate, getting the best of both worlds. The beer cuts down the sweetness of the chocolate thereby giving the chocolate a richer flavor. So my advice is get a chocolate pudding cake and drink a beer with it. A Harpoon IPA goes nicely as does a seasonal flavor with some nutmeg undertones like Winter Warmer
Sugar - I really like beer with chocolate too. And wine. A rich dark beer with a dark semi-sweet chocolate or a heavy red wine with chocolate. Oddly, the winter ale from anchor with it's nutmegy flavor doesn't go so good with chocolate.
Just finished a very good mug of cocoa (had to clean the stove because I let the milk boil over....).
You know what my answer would be.
I drink tea all morning at work, then switch to chai latte in the afternoon. Hot chocolate in the evening, sometimes. I bought a good stash of it at one of last year's silent auctions at work. I need some more marshmallows (no, I am NOT going to make the marshmallows myself - that's just a bit tooooo precious).
Best of both worlds... Z Street brewery in Fitchburg makes a Mocha Stout.
Two great tastes that taste great together! Amazing.

The Chai Latte ehBeth suggested would be my choice too. Not as rich as cocoa, more satisfying than plain tea. And as for beer...gag! never acquired a taste for the stuff
Favorite beers to go with chocolate:
Chimay Blue Cap (Belgium)
A good Framboise or Kriek lambic (Belgium
KLB Raspberry Wheat beer (Canada)
Take one teacup.
Hot water

add two ounces Bailey's Irish Cream.

What kind of tea?
can i recommend? ...
Quote:Here and there, thirsty customers are bellying up to the cafe' counter and asking for chai. Less of a jolt than coffee, more personality than plain, old tea, chai is a change of pace for a hot or cold pick-me-up.
Popular forms of chai claim Indian roots. Strong tea leaves, spiced with flavors such as ginger, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon are brewed and mixed with milk for a sweet, creamy beverage.
mmmmmmm
with a nice shot of

I'll stick with my porters and stoits, thanks.....
I picked up a jar of "Relax" aromatherapy tea blend at Bath & Body's after Xmas clearance...it's wonderful... a peppermint- ginger blend! Having some right now. 3.5 oz for the tiny sum of $3.13 (after the 75% markdown!)
I'm having lemon zinger and decaf green tea right now.....
I like green tea, but I can't seem to get used to lemon zinger...I prefer Jasmine tea.
The beauty of tea is there's something for everyone!
A really nice beverage with a bit of zing is ginger tea. Slice fresh ginger, boil, strain, add sugar to taste and then chill. It's lovely.
I'm a big ginger ale fan...I will try ginger tea.
