Right now I am procrastinating about a number of (abstract) paintings I have been working on (not to mention a number of blank/gessoed canvases). My clearest movtive for this hestitation seems to be a fear of not taking the greatest advantage (a kind of greed) of what I have on the canvases already. I hate it when works take on a preciousness that paralyzes me. But eventually--almost inevitably--I will become willing to sacrifice what I've got for something else. A sense of adventure will come to the fore. Let's hope so for these works.

I have to buy a chainsaw. I've never used a chainsaw. Makes for a solid recipe for procrastination

I was procrastinating for more than a year on getting a new coffee percolator. Finally got one.

Taking a bed to the dump. The main roundabout that leads to it is temporarily closed due to roadworks and I may have to use the axe to make sure it fits in the car.

Unpacked, and got it going a few times now.
(instant coffee was starting to annoy me)

I found out you could just pour hot water through the coffee and filter and coffee would come out the bottom.

Was that the filter and coffee came out the bottom, or just coffee. Because I have experienced both.

Uh, you've got to put the coffee on top of the filter. The filter has to be in the basket.
