Can religious beliefs be destroyed by capitalism?

I did figure out what you wrote when I was in business school some ten years ago. But now that someone is questioning whether capitalism is gaining a set of principles on top of its value set, I thought for a while and agreed with other participants here on that it might be as strong as a threat to religion.

Quite honestly, I think religion would overtake capatlisum, if and when it took control of a country, where as the opposite couldn't really happen, as most of the religiouns today are really only exsisting by the money they are given. not by what they " earn ".
