What's the point of the A2k Staff and Help Desk?

If a person goes to a restaurant and has a complaint.Most people would make the complaint in a polite & civil manner,and then take either of two different actions.
If the response to their complaint was one which satisfied them,they would return on another occasion.If it wasn't they'd leave never to be seen again.
If you were happy with other sites,and are unhappy with this one,you have two options.
Stay or Go.

Are you sure it is because you are a Christian? She has never persecuted me because I am a Christian.

Let me re-post something I said to you in another thread.

1. People have responded to you in a variety of ways, but you certainly are not being persecuted.
2. You are getting negative reactions because of the manner in which you respond to others--typing in CAPS, constant insults, telling people you want them to get lost, shut up, etc. even when they are trying to be helpful.
3. Your Christian beliefs are not the problem. Your poor social skills, and unwillingness to improve them, and your combative and hostile attitude, are considerably more of a problem if you want others to respond to you in a more positive way.
4. Your needs for attention are bottomless.



That you receive negative reactions to your comments does not mean that people are trying to cause problems for you, it simply means they are voicing their own reactions to what you post.

On other sites, mods and administrators may have intervened to reduce disruption to the site. The final solution, in some instances, was to ban you from the site--since you were the disruptive element and you did not alter your behavior.


They help you with problems relating to the use of the site. They are not here to resolve your personal issues with other posters--and they have already indicated that to you. This site uses an ignore feature, in lieu of extensive moderation, and you can use that feature (or a thumbs down) to collapse posts or threads you don't want to view. The administrators are not here to get other people off your back just because you don't like what they are saying. Other people have the same rights to hold an opinion that you do. If you continue to be disturbed by the posts you read here, and your already available options do not resolve that for you, you always have the alternative of not using this site.

What would you want the Help Desk to do if I contacted them and said I find JGoldman10's threads and posts obnoxious, offensive, and irritating?

Very few posters at A2K have actually challenged your Christian beliefs. People react to your poor social skills, and your failure to consider why people react to you the way that they do (other than to blame it on your religious views). Even when you do not interject or mention your religious beliefs, your attitude remains hostile, combative, and demanding. People are reacting to you for reasons other than your religious views--they are reacting to how you interact with others on this forum, and how you choose to disagree and express yourself--your manner of relating to other people. That you continue to blame this all on your religious views, simply shows how deeply into denial you are and how lacking in insight you are.

What about the garbage tags people put on my threads?

You should show a sense of humor around these things. In my opinion, I like the wacked out tags that appear on my threads. I find it amusing. Often times very creative.

By the way, my comments of idiot, mean and short were meant in humor - thus the short comment at the end. If it was meant in a cruel name calling way, it would have been directed more personally.

I highly believe that God has an excellent sense of humor.
