It seems very strange to me
that (knowing that thay r competing for a singular prize of $100,000)
thay choose to vote to get rid of the weakest competitors,
instead of the STRONGEST, thereby reducing their chance of personal success.

Out of all of those people,
over 2 seasons, surely SOMEONE was clever enuf to figure that out.

WE HAD SOME UNEXPECTED EVENTS IN THE 2nd SEASON FINALE !

My television viewing habits r undisciplined.
( My EVERYTHING is undisciplined. )

Accordingly, I did not see every episode of Top Shot this season.

In particular, I did not see the reason that Jaimie,
the Naval Rescue Swimmer became a pariah
and the victim of much negative emotion. Did anyone see
the cause of all the verbal abuse to which he was subjected ?

Was he identified to membership in some group
that thay deemed anathema ?

Questions? Comments ?????

WHATAYATHINK ?

Was he cawt stealing anything??

Y was he held in such abysmal esteem
and the victim of conspiracies to expel him from the group ?

To me (in my ignorance), he seemed like an innocent victim of injustice.

On the other hand, Air Force Sniper George,
whose sadistic verbal malice
toward Jaime, was the most severe,
seems to have revealed a heart of GOLD toward his friend, Chris, the eventual Winner.

It looks like George the Sadist threw the $1OO,OOO prize,
by his choice of targets; ridiculously e z, which he then MISSED,
to rescue his friend, Chris.

for the benefit of his pal, Chris (the Winner),
then shoud Chris SPLIT THE POT with George ??

@OmSigDAVID,
Mo and Mr. B probably saw it. I'll quiz Mo on it when I get the chance.

I just suggested they go catch up on Top Shots while I finish getting dinner ready. The school concert was tonight so we're late getting things done.

I'm not going to tell them who won though.

Chris had previously stated that he 'd apply the money
toward his child 's education, if he won; but under these unique circumstances,
I wonder whether or not the cash will get re-directed !??

@OmSigDAVID,
Mo says people didn't like Jamie because he was a really good player.

When it got to the merge, if he kept winning immunity then all of the other guys would get voted out and Jamie would probably win.

He kept winning immunity so they couldn't get rid of him so they just started being kind of mean to him.

Mo hasn't seen the final episode yet. I'll see what he thinks about throwing the contest. He's really glad that Chris won though.

Thay certainly DID. It was ungentlemanly.
Thay were all military personnel, but I do not believe that any of them were officers.
I believe that Brian (the ten time NRA Pistol Champion) and Chris
were both innocent of harrassing Jaime, but the others
went out of their way to insult him. In my opinion,
thay disgraced themselves.

Please thank Mo for the information, boomer.

@OmSigDAVID,
David...did you see the news that Walmart is moving guns back into a lot more stores, ones that they removed guns from in 08?

Happy days for you yes?

I did not see the news, Hawkeye.
I think that its a good thing,
the same as if more fire extinguishers
were being offered for sale. Gun possession tends to promote Individualism.
It shoud be good for the Tea Party; (Sons of Liberty type of people).

I 'm fairly confident that every citizen
who wanted more guns succeeded in acquiring them,
regardless of the policies of Walmart, but this shoud
tend to enhance dissemination of vital emergency equipment.

I believe that it is more likely that I will continue to get my guns
at gun stores that have my confidence, where I know the personnel,
who r knowledgeable of the merchandise.

Note that my current inventory of defensive ordnance
is sufficient for my security-related needs. It has been, since I was 8.

When I buy a new gun,
it is usually out of appreciation for its place in history,
or as an object of art, in my perception.

I have been accosted in gunnery ranges by customers,
including uniformed police, who have commended me
on the beauty of my ordnance; (forgive me for boasting).

Thanx for the information !

I had been hoping that either
Jamie (the victim of persecution) or Brian the Ten Time NRA Pistol Champion
woud win the competition, but I thaw that Chris was a good fellow too.

He acted like a gentleman.

I have a better answer for you now.

The topic of me transcribing Mo's thoughts here came up over dinner and Mr. B knew the right questions to ask Mo to get the real story.

According to Mo the problems with Jamie started when the "tattoo guy" started making fun of Jamie for being in the Navy and asking him what job he had (because tattoo guy didn't believe that someone in the Navy would be good with guns) asking if he was a garbage man for the Navy.

The other guys playing were Marines (?) like the tattooed guy so they started making fun of Jamie too and it all just got worse from there.

Apparently it had something to do with Jamie being in the Navy but not wanting to tell people what job he had in the Navy.

Were all the other guys jarheads? I know even my brother (an expert marksman) caught some **** from Marines because Marines think they're the toughest/best/whatever. (And that might be true. They are pretty tough. Maybe Linkat could fill us in. I think her husband was a Marine.)

Mr. B and Mo are planning on watching the end show tonight so I'll get back to you on whether they think George threw the challenge.

Mo watched it earlier today and says "yes". Mr. B hasn't seen it yet and says "NO WAY" because George had too big of an ego to lose on purpose.

Mo says something about the fact that George chose the Browning (?) and a target that was only 25 (?) feet away -- that it should have been an easy shot for him and Mo can't understand how/why he missed.

I really don't have any idea of what I'm typing about.

But thank you -- Mo though it was very cool that his opinion was needed here. He watched carefully as I typed in his response this morning and he wanted to make sure I set the record straight tonight.

@boomerang,
Yes. That makes a lot of sense.

Please thank Mo and Mr. B for their respective assistance.

I hope that thay will show re-runs of the series.
I look forward to knowing Mr. B's sense of the situation
when he has seen the finale.
