I want to find the link to the average income for stock broker from 1960 to 2008.

Suggest you try using the bureau of labour statistics
Take care that you include bonuses and commision

As of December 2009, the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the median salary of stock brokers is $68,680. Most brokers earn annual salaries between $40,480 and $122,270. Estimates from the BLS also indicate variations in segments within the financial industry. For example, in security and commodity contracts intermediation, the median salary is $85,580, while the median salary in financial investment services is $94,960.
