Really? Actually, we agree, you just posted almost word for word what others had posted. The odd part is that you posted it as if it contradicted them. That's like me saying the sky is blue, and you telling me I'm obviously dumb because the sky is actually blue.

Consider this. Would you rather be a homosexual in the USA or Iran?

The USA. Here we have secular protections against religion. The current protections homosexuals enjoy in the USA are not due to Christianity, but to upholding our secular government.

Do you understand this?

@failures art,
I think I will just stop replying to everyone who takes apart my words. If you wish any further replies from me, then you will have to reply with a full quote or none at all.

It probably is quite embarassing for you to see how indefensible your positions are when your posts are read carefully.

No reply required or expected.

@failures art,
You answered your own question. We have a secular government. You have some strange idea that Christians are demanding a theocracy like muslims do. Our secular government was set up by believers. That's your problem. You're confused and you've always been confused.

I think that your response is dishonest (from Latin de- + honestare] after what you previously wrote

Amazing. Another poster interested in only me. I'm flattered, Walter. Let me know when you get back on topic.

The real scary part of this entire discussion is the Theocracy that the religious right is proposing--you know the one where Rennie Duboyz, or someone of his ilk with similar logical and moral skills is the local chairman of "the Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice."

Now the one thing for sure is that they won't be enforcing 'Sharia' Law, but I'll sill feel sorry for the first poor pregnant teenage girl that miscarries suspiciously and comes before the 'Committee'.

@Renaldo Dubois,
Published by WND Books-that is ]"World Net Daily" Books

Publishers of the following extreme right wing fodder

BTW this is the Blurb from one of the WND classics
Quote:
Black Gold Stranglehold
The Myth of Scarcity and the Politics of Oil
Jerome Corsi and Craig Smith expose the fraudulent science that has made America so vulnerable: the belief that oil is a fossil fuel and that it is a finite resource. This book argues persuasively that oil is not a product of fossils and prehistoric forests but rather the byproduct of a continuing biochemical reaction below the earth’s surface that is brought to attainable depths by the centrifugal forces of the earth’s rotation.

and another

Quote:
From Crayons to Condoms
The Ugly Truth About America’s Public Schools
In From Crayons to Condoms, parents, teachers, and students expose the dismal state of government schools, which encourage mass social experimentation. Today’s public schools are rife with failed teaching practices that encourage classroom activities that produce dangerous, even deadly results. The stories in From Crayons to Condoms are sure to horrify and energize anyone concerned about today’s kids and our nation’s future.

Pretty reactionary agitprop, that WND press, rennee.

Defending our failing public school system is very lame. Defending failure is going to be a full-time job until election day for you and your pals.

As I read this, you've already failed to back this up by replying to both ehbeth and Walter.

Renaldo Dubois wrote:

I'll reply to your comments and provide criticism as I please. This does not require your feedback. If you don't wish to answer to the criticisms I post, it only hurts your argument. It makes no difference to me if you want to forfeit your opportunity to defend your position under pressure.

I will continue to address your posts to my liking, and ask pointed questions as I see fit. I have never altered your words, and have spoke directly to your claims. Your objection to having your posts dissected line by line seems like your embarrassed. I think you would be better to be more mindful of your content if this is your concern.

I think 9th grade civics coursework would be a good start. You seem to champion homeschooling and alternatives to public school, but so far I'm not very impressed by your intellectual capacity on these topics.
