@Renaldo Dubois,
I've told you. You get the figures, I'm not running round after you. You need to keep up. You're the one's spouting propaganda. What's worse is that you both claim to be Christians, but you've twisted and perverted the message of Christ so much as to make it unrecognisable. Most atheists are better Christians than you lot, at least they respect the message of the man himself. Anyway, they say there's a special place in hell for people like you, and Mr. Dubois should be finding out sooner than the rest. I'm not wasting any more of my time talking to you, you're just nasty, hate-filled bigots. Not the sort I would wish to pass the time of day with.

@raprap,
I'm going to bow out of this one mate. I've got no problem debating with right wingers, but these people aren't right wingers, they're hate merchants pure and simple. Engaging them in debate just legitimises their repulsive bigotry and twisted ideology. It also makes me grateful that I live in the least religious country on Earth. I feel sorry for you having to rub shoulders with such people on a day to day basis. At least over here such opinions are sidelined and marginalised to the far right BNP.

I used to work at quite a rough boys school with a significant proportion of ethnic minorities, Sikhs, Hindus, Moslems, Christians, Jews, Atheists and Agnostics, and they were all a bunch of little bastards like most teenage boys. And if I'm honest like I was when I was that age.

There is a brilliant 4 part Drama series called 'The Promise.' It was first shown on Channel 4 in the UK. It is meticulously researched and deals with the situation in Israel from the viewpoint of two members of the same family. The first is a British sergeant in the paratroop regiment who after liberating Belsen concentration camp, finds himself at part of the British Mandate in Palestine. His granddaughter finds his diary just before she flies out to Israel in the 1990's to stay with a childood friend who is doing her military service in Israel just before the Intifada. It's worth checking out, and I'm sorry to bow out like this, but talking to these people leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-righteousness

Quote:

Self-righteousness
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Self-righteousness (also called sententiousness, holier-than-thou[1]) is a feeling of (usually) smug moral superiority[2] derived from a sense that one's beliefs, actions, or affiliations are of greater virtue than those of the average person.

The term "self-righteous" is often considered derogatory (see, for example, journalist and essayist James Fallows' description of self-righteousness[3] in regards to Nobel Peace Prize winners) particularly because self-righteous individuals are often thought to exhibit hypocrisy, an idea similar to that of the Freudian defense mechanism of reaction formation. The connection between self-righteousness and hypocrisy predates Freud's views, however, as evidenced by the 1899 book Good Mrs. Hypocrite: A Study in Self-Righteousness, by the pseudonymous author "Rita."

@izzythepush,
You're hearing voices. I never claimed to be a Christian.

Anything wrong with being a Christian?

On your way out....don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.

When you go around making claims you darn well better have the numbers to back up YOUR propaganda. I hope you have learned a valuable lesson.

The blokes maybe. But I've known a few complete idiots on the other side in my time and if you can design a machine to replace them you'll make an absolute fortune.

It'll need to be flexible, imaginative, cunning, inexplicable and difficult to get to grips with. Three models. At first anyway. We don't want our imaginations running away with us at this prototype stage. I don't anyway. NO NONSENSE, TOUCH OF CLASS and the DE-LUXE.

@Renaldo Dubois,
They don't have the rational case against Christians and Christianity which they believe themselves entitled to. The very title of this thread shows the problem.

@gungasnake,
That's because they don't understand Christianity and Islam. They only know what their leaders tell them. They're parrots, nothing more.

Boobie aren't you going into your uual and predictable rant about Ganja using Wikipedia as a reference? Or is Boobie just going to be a typical Sharia hypocrite?

@izzythepush,
Agreed! Ganja's greatest assets are that he is incapable of independent thought and when he appears any discussion (reasonable or not) stops. Weather Renee realizes it or not, Ganja's mere presence is the A2K equivalent of Godwin's Law of debate.

Game over, let the Ganja and Renee circle jerk commence.

There are no contradictions in my position on Wikipedia. Again for the record:

Wikipedia is a gigantically valuable resource for any topic for which no controversy could plausibly exist; for anything else, wiki is worthless.

Renaldo, I'm pleased to see you're still here. Why are you asking about how many died in Iraq? I posted this info ages ago? I feel so bad you've been struggling to find the info. Did you forget how to use google?

@failures art,
I didn't ask how many people died in Iraq.

I asked how many Iraqi citizens were killed by Christians and how many were killed by muslims. That's the question.
