Art Direction
Inception - it seems the weirdest flic, thus subject to inventive art direction

(so did I ever tell you about my neighbor, the art director? Seemingly entirely tattooed guy and his three legged huge pit bull, both of them sweethearts, and his girlfriend swell too. I still miss 'em.)

Costume Design
The King's Speech - sheer guess

Film Editing
The Social Network - sheer bias on my part.
Having seen none of these movies, I have read some reviews, and I'd probably have to scoot out from the theater running Black Swan, yack, and that was my other guess.

Makeup
The Wolfman - never heard of any of them. Well, maybe The Way Back, but I've no clue what it is about, and figure I'll learn that after the Oscars.

Music (Original Song)
Coming Home - possibly pleasant

Visual Effects
Inception - same reason as for art direction

Animated Feature Film
How to Train Your Dragon - guess

Cinematography
The Social Network - guess

Documentary (Feature)
Gasland - I looked these up (except for the banksy one I knew about)

Foreign Language Film - looked these up too, to see what they are about..
Biutiful, Mexico
I'd also like to see this one - (Hors-la-loi)” Algeria

Directing
The King's Speech, Tom Hooper - slight hunch

Writing (Original Screenplay)
The King's Speech, Screenplay by David Seidler

Actor in a Leading Role
I'm for Javier Bardem in “Biutiful”
but I think Jeff Bridges in “True Grit” will win.

Actor in a Supporting Role
Geoffrey Rush in “The King's Speech” - guess

More -
Actress in a Leading Role
Annette Bening in “The Kids Are All Right”

Actress in a Supporting Role
Helena Bonham Carter in “The King's Speech”

Best Picture
The King's Speech - seems the most hollywoody oscary to me.

EXTRA POINT QUESTION: Will the reclusive graffiti artist, Bansky, show up to the ceremony?
No.

TIE BREAKER QUESTION:
How long in minutes will the ceremony run? Closest answer gets the point.
I have no idea. I'll pick 210, for resonance.

@ossobuco,
Thanks Ossobuco! I've uploaded your ballot onto the master spreadsheet. You only have one blank remaining: Adapted Screenplay.

I personally had not heard of The Way Back and three of the foreign language films: the Denmark, Algeria, and the Canadian film.

@tsarstepan,
Thanks, I had several pages open when I was working this up, egads, what with the red ink and underlining and so on.

Writing (Adapted Screenplay)

The Social Network, Screenplay by Aaron Sorkin - I figure it's a bright screenplay and I tend to like those.

Tsar, I see you chose Greece's Dogtooth as your pick for Foreign Language Film. Any particular reason? Out of the five nominated, it's actually the only one I've seen (although I think the Academy will give it to Mexico's Biutiful and made my pick accordingly).

So, what's your review of Dogtooth? Inquiring minds want to know!

@Irishk,
Sadly, I haven't seen it yet though it's on Netflix streaming. The Foreign Language category is my weakest category. I chosen it because I read a lot of great reviews. Hopefully, I'll watch it this afternoon.

Incendies, In a Better World, and Outside the Law are three films I never heard of until their nominations. Don't even think they ran in the theaters here in NYC yet. So I choose Dogtooth over Biuitiful because of a few tepid reviews held against Biuitiful as well.
