I consider myself somehwhat of a cat connoisseur-I like them, had some and I do a lot of research pertaining to domestic cat breeds.
Is anyone else here a cat person?
@JGoldman10,
I used to have an orange cat. Her name was Buffy.
@JGoldman10,
Moi - and a dog, bird, mouse, fish, guinea pig, etc person. But at the moment only one cat.
@Butrflynet,
Here's a picture of Buffy:
@Butrflynet,
Okay-do you know what breed it was?
@Butrflynet,
Wasn't it actually beige?
@Ionus,
American Shorthair? Exotic Shorthair? British Shorthair?
@JGoldman10,
I think exotic shorthair.....
@JGoldman10,
Nope. When she was a tiny kitten, she wandered on the volleyball court during a tournament game I was playing in high school and wouldn't take no for an answer when I tried to discourage her from following me home.
I find them a bit stringy unless taken from a very fat cat and cooked slowly over a long period and low heat.
I'm asian.
@Ragman,
Only when she'd been rolling around in the dirt. Other than that, she was a bright orange fur ball.
I often play with my neighbor's cat.
@Butrflynet,
You're a very literal person, I see. This comment was connected to the comments about skin color from other threads.
@Ragman,
You must not have read any of my posts there about how lighting and processing can change the perception of skin colors.
They have catteries and cat shows in Asia, but why do some Asians eat them?
As suggested by (I think it was) butrflynet, if you look up the tag, that is, cats, in the Search Forums box to the right of the page on the New Posts page, you will discover that a2k has had three hundred and twenty two threads on cats.
Here is a link for them (which I found by putting the word cats in the search box to the right).

When I was living there I was accused of eating the neighbours cat. Usually only the very poor eat cats, as most are happy to keep cats to control vermin. I think I was accused in an attempt to get me to "settle out of court". No-one believed it anyway. Oh, and I did not eat the cat.
