Wisconsin Protests

Currently there is a large protest happening in the WI legislature. The GOP has proposed a bill that would effectively destroy all bargaining rights for public workers such as teachers, law enforcement officers, and prison guards.

Given the public outcry, will the GOP back down or will they push forth? The state democrats have left the building so that quorum cannot be reached. Apparently, officers have been dispatched to return the senators to the floor so a vote may be taken. Things are kind of crazy.
