Does anyone know how to find the right and a good manufacturer that a online retailer like myself could benefit from? For instance, im currently trying to sell pet products on a my website?

Your local council will have contact information. Also some government levels have small business help centres.

I've been running a small business for over 10 years and I have to say that it worries me that you asked this question. You need a whole lot more intiative than that to set up a business and more importantly to keep it going. Follow ionus's advice and find a small business help centre that can help you with all the basics.
