@OmSigDAVID,
In the spirit of this thread, I can't resist making a bad pun: Some would find such a dinner to be apPAULing. Rolling Eyes Laughing

@blueveinedthrobber,
Out chasing ostriches?

Seriously, each one of us should write a PM to Gus to let him know that we're concerned about him.

Why is Fox News "obsessed" with Sarah Palin?

Quote:
Why can't Fox News and the conservative media just leave her alone? Why do they have to spotlight every move she makes?

Because in case you haven't heard the latest far-right media meme, it's that the press (or the "left") is "obsessed" with Palin and by showering her with attention the press is advertising its hostility towards her. It's true. In what may be a first, by lavishing all sorts of attention on a political figure, the media are tipping off their contempt for that person.

Or something.

The argument doesn't really make much sense, but that doesn't stop conservatives from peddling it. So yes, now everyone is in heated agreement: If you talk or write about Sarah Palin a lot that means you're "obsessed," and that means you're trying to destroy her.

So I'll ask again, why is Fox News obsessed with Sarah Palin?

Number of on-air "Palin" mentions, Sunday through Wednesday this week, according to TVEyes:

-CNN: 73

-MSNBC 127

-Fox News, 149

@blueveinedthrobber,
I think her mouth opens before her purile brain actually processes the thought. If she kept her moth shut and pandered to the masses like Obama people would love her. She Got NO Political Game Smile

I happen to think she's a fascinating, refreshing alternative to the political status quo. When I see her on the TV driving intellectuals (defined here as anyone with a modicum of skepticism and general curiosity about not only their surroundings but also people, places, and things at least thirty miles beyond their deed-restricted subdivision) absolutely bonkers, I can't help but pinch my nipples in excitement! And I won't lie: sometimes a little bit of milk comes out.

@revelette,
News Corp truly wants to become kingmakers (or in this case queenmakers) by doing everything they can to get Sarah Palin elected as president giving them the greatest intimate access to any president held by any media outlet in the history of the country.

They want to be the hand that manipulates the easily manipulated puppet that is Sarah Palin and thusly become the most powerful media outlet on planet.

@tsarstepan,
Sarah is not electable.
She 'd only help oboy to get elected, if she ran.

Only a remark that was a perceived slam on me by Set would cause this white trash **** water idiot to post a +1. If Set comes on and tells me to go to hell I reckon you'd offer him a blow job.

Talk about as much as you want, just don't make her a candidate for president in 2012.

Agreed. She already lost once in 2008.
I voted for her.
