Do read this problem very carefully, as a wrong answer may otherwise result.

If I were in Hawaii and dropped a bowling ball in a bucket of water which is 45 degrees F, and dropped another ball of the same weight, mass, and size in a bucket at 30 degrees F, both of them at the same time, which ball would hit the bottom of the bucket first Question

If 2 hours ago it was as long after one o'clock in the afternoon as it was before one o'clock in the morning.

What time would it be now Question

To what question can you never truly answer "yes" Question

Assuming a) that the buckets are large enough for the bowling balls and b) that there is water (ice) in the second bucket then the bowling ball in the 45 degree bucket reaches the bottom first.

Merlin, clever, very clever. Cool Cool

"Assuming a) that the buckets are large enough for the bowling balls and b) that there is water (ice) in the second bucket then the bowling ball in the 45 degree bucket reaches the bottom first."

The ball in the bucket of 45 degree F water hits the bottom of the bucket last. Did you think that the water in the 30 degree F bucket is frozen? Think again. The question said nothing about that bucket having anything in it. Therefore, there is no water (or ice) to slow the ball down...I suppose Hawaii had nothing to with it either!!

To what question can you never truly answer "yes"
"Is the answer to this question 'no'?"

Actually it could be. Another answer. I have, "Are you sleeping?"

TIME
9:00 PM Cool Cool

Nine o'clock. Since there are 12 hours between the 2 times, and
half of that time is six, then the halfway mark would have to be 7
o'clock. If it were 7 o'clock, two hours ago, the time would now
be nine o'clock.

Oldie re-visited.

There was a guy who had a Fox, a Chicken, and a bag of Grain.
He had to cross a river to get back home, but he could only take one
item with him at a time. He could only take the fox, or the grain,
or the chicken. Well, if you leave a chicken and a fox on one side
of the river while taking the bag of grain across, the fox will
eat the chicken, same thing with the chicken and the grain.
Can't leave those two alone or the chicken will eat the grain.

How do you get them all across the river safely Question

A submarine; a ship that can travel under the surface of the water. Most such ships are ships of war, as part of a navy, but submarines are also used for oceanic research. Also called sub and (from the German U-Boot) U-boat.

2. A stowaway on a seagoing vessel.
3. A submarine sandwich.

Should you prefer:

WordNet Dictionary

Noun 1. submarine - a submersible warship usually armed with torpedoes
Synonyms: pigboat, U-boat, sub.

Just for you: Laughing

Dream Dictionary

To see a submarine in your dream, indicates that you are cautiously exploring your emotions and examining your unconscious feelings. You still remain guarded about certain emotional issues. Alternatively, the submarine indicates that you need to adapt a different perspective and understanding. You may need to get down to the core of some situation or problem.

"You are talking about mules?" Cool

Well, if that don't take the Anxac biscuit, abso-bloody-lutely.
The animal is the Mule. Since all Mules are born sterile, you can only get a Mule by crossing a donkey with a horse. That is how the species is able to repopulate itself.

Try, old buddy. You know I don't like to argue, so I won't go into the absurdity of using an early 1900's definition in order to support your case.

I will simply state again;

A submarine is a boat not a ship.

Some guys back before WWI might disagree, but it is so.
