If you could stand up; you would not be off ended! Still, now you know how I feel when you refer to the fifth grade as my senior year.

I would have you knowd that the only reason my pa walks me to school is cause we are both in the same grade.

Hi Try, how are you?

I Love George de La Tour, (Hal, the movis). I think he taught Jesus who was Carravagio (along with some others, like me). He (George) seemed to be an absolute master of darknes during that life and later mastered light,,,here are two pics of his-

This is called The Hurdy Gurdy Player~ Like the song 'Hurgy Gurdy Man'

DATE CUBES
11 Sep 25 Cool Cool

Dang! You just keep getting better. Razz

Harry and Tom would know there are only four six-digit cubes (leading 0 allowed) where the first 2 and second 2 digits are 12 or less. These are:

010648, 050653, 091125, 110592

These represent:
1 Jun or 6 Jan
5 Jun or 6 May
9 Nov or 11 Sep
11 May or 5 Nov

If Harry knowing the month allows the date to be determined, this must be Jan (01) or Sep (09)
If Tom's knowing the day doesn't help, it must be 5 or 11.

There are two dates when these combine - 11 Sep represented as 091125

Howdy Jove, thanks for the pictures, they are very good; especially the carpenter by candlelight. I hope you are well and enjoying yourself.

In a study, physicians were asked what the odds of breast cancer would be in a woman who was initially thought to have a 1% risk of cancer but who ended up with a positive mammogram result (a mammogram accurately classifies about 80% of cancerous tumors and 90% of benign tumors.)

95 out of a hundred physicians estimated the probability of cancer to be about 75%.

Do you agree Question

BREAST CANCER
[size=7]Since I'm not sure what it's based on or how to apply it, I'm ignoring the 1% risk factor.

I figure the probability at 8/9 = 88.9%

|Good morning all; did you know I'm on a 30-day diet? So far I've lost 19 days.

Anyways; don't worry about avoiding temptation. As you grow older, it will avoid you!

A doctor is called to see a sick child. The doctor has prior information that 90% of sick children in that neighborhood have the flu, while the other 10% are sick with measles.

Let F stand for an event of a child being sick with flu and M stand for an event of a child being sick with measles. Assume for simplicity that there no other maladies in that neighborhood.

A well-known symptom of measles is a rash (the event of having which we denote R). P(R|M) = .95. However, occasionally children with flu also develop rash, so that P(R|F) = 0.08.

Upon examining the child, the doctor finds a rash.

What is the probability that the child has measles Question
