Here's how I went about doing it:
I assumed that the number would have 8 digits to make it the largest possible. (Minus 5 because of the 0 or 5 requirement)

To be divisible by:
1: Automatic
2: End in 2, 4, 6, or 8 (No zero because you said so!)
3: Automatic (Added up the digits, multiple of 3)
4: Last 2 numbers must be divisible by 4
6: Divisible by 2 and 3, should be automatic
7: The somewhat complicated 7 rule...
8: Last 3 divisible by 8
9: Same as 3, but by 9

And with a little thinking, I came up with:

1687392!

What English word retains the same pronunciation, even after you take away four of its five letters?

Mom and Dad have four daughters, and each daughter has one brother. How many people are in the family?

Your analysis was great - you just overlooked the "largest" requirement and didn't work backward from 9876321.

Snuff is nasty...so is chewing tobacco - now if you could spit watermelon seeds that far - I would be semi impressed even thought the record is 68 feet and 9-1/8 inches set in 1989. Razz

Now as to the pole dancing - it puts food on the table so don't knock it til you try it. Actually - think I would rather not see you try it...no offense Shocked
