#29 is in an excel doc. (I don't know how to cut it out and save as a jpg to show it)
standing ovation

Oh, & #22 could also be: life begins at 40
Anyways, that is all 30 of them.

Edit: on #29 it is protected with a password so I can't take it out of excel Sad

Puzzle (by Sam Loyd)
Two children, who were all tangled up in their reckoning of the days of the
week, paused on their way to school to straighten matters out…

"When the day after tomorrow is yesterday," said Priscilla, then 'today' will be
as far from Sunday as that day was which was 'today' when the day before
yesterday was tomorrow!"
On which day of the week did this puzzling prattle occur Question

Edit: Sorry Dutchy, mark answered 28 of them and I picked up the last 2.
We should have left them for Try Laughing Laughing Laughing
Edit again: Hi mismi40, I hope your cold is better.

Ok! I came to the party with 19 answers; which I thought pretty good. I now see it was too little too late! The story of my life. Oh to be in Carolina in the morning !

Mark:

BELT

76.94255678 inches Cool (I see that)

length of each tangent segment is sqrt(560)
fraction of contact with large disk is [360 - 2*asin(sqrt(560)/24)] / 360
fraction of contact with small disk is [180 - 2*acos(sqrt(560)/24)] / 360

You win again; I had 93.38 and my scribble doesn't make sense even to me! Rolling Eyes

BTW Dutchy; leave off with all the praise for Mark or he will expect a big raise, and I don't want to disappoint him. Laughing Laughing

Nice update TTH, just a pity I can't remember all the answers now! Sad
