Sorry for derailing your thread Try,,,.

I feel like an etcetrahole sometimes~
The worse thing i have ever done was, wish and partake in making (as i dreamed awake) Jesus fall down a flight of stairs because i put oil on them (i might have been in a bad way when i did this due to the fact i had all of the wrong information in my stupid little pea brain) Jesus and everyone i apaulajize for being stupid,,, you can arrest me> , you can do it to me if you like.

Isn't it nice out?

Mark:

PRISM
20 vertices (balls of clay) Cool
12 faces Cool
30 edges (pieces of straw) Cool
V+F = E+2 = 32

Since the prism has bases with 10 sides each and there are two congruent bases, there will be 10+10= 20 vertices and so that he needs 20 balls of clay; there are totally 10 faces (other than the two congruent bases) but lets not clutch at straws; and 10+10+10=30 sides so that he needs 30 straws.

ptroevmidpentcge = tempting providence Cool

overindulge = duovlegre Cool

Etc, "Sorry for derailing your thread Try,,,."

Dear sweet PJ think nothing of it, just have some sympathy for the injured littering the track of this freeking train wreck. The fallout is worse than the Three Mile Island accident.

However, the way I see it is; he should have taken better care of you in the first place. A shepherd should look after his flock, or the big bad woolf will get them.

I have told him before:

People who are overconfident or too arrogant are likely to fail.
This saying is adapted from the biblical Book of Proverbs.

"Isn't it nice out? "

Yes, yes it is; I think I will leave it out.

That is great for you, I suppose, but it doesn't tell me anything. Can't you just come out and say what you mean in plain English in laymans terms.

I'm taking a 2 1/2 week leave of absence (pre-approved by Try, of course). If I run into a connected computer, I'll check in. Maybe etc will be using plain English by the time I get back, but I'm not holding my breath. :wink:

Mark is off for a two week vacation thanks to his smart investments.

Mark invested $5000 for one year, part at 9% annual interest and the rest at 12% annual interest. The interest from the investment at 9% was $198 more than the interest from the investment at 12%.

How much money did he invest at 9% Question

Have a great time!

Rap:

Amount invested @9%=$2*10^2(3*11+10^2)/7 Cool Cool

Hi Rap, good to see you.

Let's assume we invest $ x at 9% interest, invest $(5000-x) at 12% interest.

(x * 0.09) -198 = (5000-x) * 0.12
0.09x - 198 = 600 - 0.12x
0.21x = 798
x = 3,800

Mark invested $3,800 at 9% interest rate.

lafnd = Finland Cool
