When I click on new topic thread and then exit out of the thread it disappears. Then when I go back to find the thread again it's not there. I either have to go to the posters homepage or look it up with the search option. Why?
Are my settings wrong or is this a bug? Does this happen to anyone else? Just curious...
Thanks.

@Ceili,
yes , happens to me too - and probably all .
i think the system recognizes that you just read the post ... and don't want to - or shouldn't - read it again .

@hamburgboy,
Id like to be the one to make that judgement. I too hve noticed it. I was going to respond to a thread by Wilso (who is apparently leaving) and it just vanished as I left to get a youtube "farewell song"

I just saw this happen, but scrolling down I saw that this thread has been placed in a second list bellow, of threads who didnt receive a new post since you last read then or something.

Topics disappear because you are an evil woman child, and the hamsters don't like Canadians.

@Setanta,
Ah, that explains a lot. No wonder mine all died. They was allergic to me then..
My Chinchilla's still in the game though, so then I guess some rodents are immune to my Canadian wickedness..

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about but... is your "Put unread topics above read topics" set to No in your preferences? That should keep everything in date/time order. I'm not sure how that works in the New Topics tab though.

This is the preference you need:

Topic List Preferences
Put unread topics above read topics: NO
