what is the latin for "be still" i think it is adhuc thank you

Adhuc means "so far" or "as yet". It can be used with a sense of continuity
in which case it can mean "still" in the sense of "I am still waiting."

If you mean "be still" in the sense of "be quiet", I would say sile (if
addressing one person) or silete (if addressing more than one person).
