With all the heated discussions here and in the national news, I have a question. Would the USA be better off if broken up into several more autonomous regions? Say, 9 regions from the census map:
New England
Mid Atlantic
South Atlantic
East South Central
West South Central
East North Central
West North Central
Mountain
Pacific
Let these areas elect a leader. Provide services, etc.
Be governed more like Europe.
Allow free travel.
Common currency.
Free trade.
Complete local control over govt services.
A pact like NATO for defense.
What do the great minds think?
Better or worse, and why?
Would you remain living where you do or move?
Yes we would......................feel better now?
