I'm really into [food product], but the price tag is holding me back. Where can I get [food product] for a cheap price?

@sudipanswar,

@roger,
Smile

Do you have that sneaking feeling we're about to receive a bit of [food product] spam? Wink

@msolga,
Well, if [food product] is spiced ham, I guess it would be Spam spam.

But hey, if [food product] is cheese, I might suggest a milking stool and a bit of patience. If the gentleman has a taste for escargot, the solution is obvious. One needn't even be posessed of great dexterity or fleetness of foot.

@roger,
There are so many, many possibilities, roger.
Which [food product], precisely, is causing all this concern?

@msolga,
There. You've just nailed the problem. If we're talking about potato chips, you get one answer. If it's asparagus, it's quite another. I've seen advertisements for a book called Stalking the Wild Asparagus. Didn't read it, but it's probably chock full of great ideas. I would hate to invest the time, only to find out the question is about turnips.

I heart potato chips.

My father used to make homemade potato chips using a dedicated wood plane to make his chips. He fried them in a combination of lard and Crisco.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Fortunately, heart disease does not run in my family.
