I don't know that I could compose a full definition, but I'd say that something about valuing expensive results over shallow frugality with no results (reworded naturally).
Collaboration over compromise. Liberals seem to be able to deal with differences better. I think this is why liberals form in the USA into the large tent party of the Democrats. Not that it's entirely functional or organized, but I think the overall mission is worth that kind of challenge/problem solving.
