Going dancing or swimming is always naturally fun.

Though nights in, curling up in front of the tv on movie night in a pile of blankets with hot tea and my Labrador.

I thought a Lab is short for a Lap dance. I don't find girls attractive so I thought lab is only for gens. It's a misunderstanding. Smile

They are talking about a dog called a Labrador Retriever. It was breed for hunting, but is known to be very sweet and gentle so it's a good companion and family dog. They come in three colors: black, gold, and chocolate brown.

My black Lab was a honey, so I called her Honey. Nothing like a gentle, loving Lab.
By the way, the Goldens are extremely good with little children.

My lab died several years ago at the age of 13, from cancer. Lord did I ever cry.

I have a miniature Poodle right now. He's little lover and very smart, but there's a big difference in temperament between a Poodle and a Lab.
I've never seen a Poodle used as a guide dog for a blind person. It's not because the Poodle's aren't smart...It's probably because they're too smart and are inclined to always be getting into something, they shouldn't be.

Oh, sorry about the loss. Losing a Labrador is like losing a child. I wouldn't have chosen a Labrador, but I've had her since I was a child so the breed really grew on me.

I'm not one to like Poodles either to be honest, although I know they can be really smart. I've never personally delt with one, though, so their personality might win me over more than their looks. He sounds like you have to keep an eye on him a lot.
