ahhhh, I'm a great fan of Jane Jacobs. She has lived in Toronto for many years now, and was a noted speaker when our new mayor was sworn in quite recently. It seems she's going to have something to say about ongoing development here.
I always thought I'd go back and finish a degree in 'Urban and Regional Planning'. Loved the courses I did take when I was doing my degrees. Life caught up with me, and now it's really just Utne Reader that keeps me somewhat updated on the subject.
