English to Latin, please

Pig Latin??? This ought to be easy...

There is no way to say "life...sucks" in Laton (nor any other non-English language that I know of). It would make no sense. "Sucks" in the sense that you mean it is American slang. To translate "Life sucks" into any other language, the meaning would come out as "Life gives breast milk" or "Life nurtures" or something similar.

Yes, it is slang. What would be your best guess at how to express that feeling in Latin, even if the actual words are something like "life is really hard?" Thanks.

Vita cloaca est would mean, roughly, "life is a ****-house."

Or as Seneca the Younger said:
Maluisses cloacas Augeae purgare.
You'd rather have cleaned out Augeas's ****-house.

I am looking for a latin phrase that expresses the "sometimes life is really difficult" idea without getting into bodily functions. Any suggestions?
