I love that image. This is the third time i've used it.

This thread is for the discussion of the thread police (or not). I am reminded of Mecken's definition of Puritanism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy. You know who i mean--people like Thomas, or the Wabbit.

That vid was dangerously close to being on topic, Miss Lettybettyhettygetty . . . i may have to report you to the thead police.

When i was a kid, hoboes still rode the rails right regular. They used to put chalk marks on the shed at the end of the property. It was only many years later that i leaned the symbols they chalked there meant "No work, no food, mean woman." My grandmother was no friend of hoboes.

@Setanta,
This is an image I love Set. I posted it once before, making you one of the characters in it.

The title of this is:

Set Mercilessly Employs Facts and Logic, Causing Arella Mae to Completely Break Down, Whereupon OCCOM BILL Comforts Her, at the Same Time, Subtly Copping a Feel, While Jespah Wishes She Wasn't on Moderator Duty.

I'm going to have to watch that movie over the weekend.

The drama/screaming/drunken accusations...

I'll have to pop extra corn.

@chai2,
Ok, you get five stars for that (and I could probably stand to see the movie again, or could I?)

@ossobuco,
Not to hijack the thread, but you know what really gets me about that film?

The fact that you can't tell what the time is.

The drunkeness, the fighting, can this go on forever?

You don't know if it's 9pm, or 1am, or 4am....The bedlam goes on, now what is the time? Did we back up to 10pm, or is it now 2:15a?

Makes for a feeling of desperation, IMO.

It is a philosophical impossibility to hijack a digression.

Elizabeth Taylor is just plain scary.

@chai2,
Well, I was filled with extreme irritation for Sandy Dennis (surely a good actress).

Someone once complained that I was derailing a thread. The subject was oral sex. That thread was "off the tracks" to begin with.

Oh she was perfect for the role.

She was just begging to be humiliated.

I was just you tubing some scenes from the movie.

I love this one, watch Liz. She's chomping on the chicken leg, berating Dick, having a grand old time.

At 2:00. There's just a piece of skin left on the chicken bone, and she opens up the fridge and tosses it back onto a plate.

What? You savin' it for later?
