@Mame,
It's interesting to note that three women written as one word in Chinese means gossip.

@IRFRANK,
It's not about the sleeping arrangements, it's about how safe he feels to speak to the employee BECAUSE of the sleeping arrangements.

You let it come to a head, then you lance it.

I've been in office jobs where the affair is happening. Like someone else said, it's a little nightmare. I think if you speak to anybody about it, you may be in trouble.

If you don't speak about it, you're in a nightmare.

All I can say is: It will be over soon. I would just do my own job, the best I can and, don't worry, word will get to his boss through the gossips.

@Mame,
Idiogram for hate and dissention shows two women under one roof.

Of course it was written by a man. Why would women know how to read and write? It only confuses them.

If anyone here really thinks women are stupid, why do you suppose they are allowed to raise children? I don't think any of us got here without some assist by a woman who carried us ingrates for 9 months. Oh crap, maybe the folks insulting women really did have stupid women for mothers....at least even the stupid gals decided to actually have these incredibly ungrateful babies.

@roger,
The Chinese symbol for war is two women under one roof.

Two men under the same roof and you have a poker game.

And watch it buddy, just remember the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world whether they can read or not

@Pemerson,
Over the top awkward work place situation was when my wife had a woman that was the live in girlfriend of her ex-husband besides having been the mistress of her ex-husband during the period of her own marriage directly under her.

To top it off the lady was not a good employee due to an alcohol problem.

Giving her the kind of job reviews that her job performed call for would open my wife to claims that she was just getting back at a romance rival.

@BillRM,
Wouln't others know of the same problems?

So, your wife chose not to do her job properly because she was afraid of what people may think? Sounds like a poor management style.

I do not remember posting on how she ended up dealing with the problem now did I?

She was not in the position to turn the matter over to someone else as the woman directly reported to her and she was second in charge of the whole organization.

Civil service rules also apply so she very very carefully documents the woman problems and the lack of meetings her goals and very carefully word her reviews to keep her opinions out of it as must as possible.

It was a very uncomfortable tight rope for her.
