@Razer,
Quote:Sentence: "Why do you want Akhand Bharat"
My question: Is there a need of article "an" before the word Akhand Bharat? Or, will it do without any article?
**Both Akhand and Bharat are Hindi language words. They combinely means United India. In Hindi Akhand means United and Bharat means India. Akhand Bharat is an ideology of a group.
We can't say for sure if you need 'an', Razer, until we know the exact meaning you want to convey.
If you're saying a country, a unified state, then,
"Why do you want an Akhand Bharat?"
because it doesn't yet exist. It's like saying,
"Why do you want a fictitious state like Akhand Bharat?"
If this ideology exists and it is known by the name "Akhand Bharat", then there's no need for an article;
"Why do you want Akhand Bharat/socialism/communism/capitalism/etc?"
