Dismantling US Democracy

Quote:
There's a disturbing irony in a U.S. administration that claims it intends to establish democracy in Iraq - yet all the while systematically dismantling democracy at home.

You can enjoy the benefits of democracy if you are alive. If you are killed in the terror attack, I do not think that right to be informed will be your most important concern. Some limitations in information flow are necessary to avoid abuse of the information accessibility by the rogue underground organizations. Military patrolling may prevent a terror attack as well. Under the current conditions you are to choose between right for life and right for informational access. These constraints were not imposed by the administration, they should rather be attributed to the global terror.
